In a word: Militarists. I think that the fact that the military is the largest employer in the country is one of the most ironic and bizarre facts to come out of this recession. This fact alone makes the military seem like an extremely powerful person. After all, the military can do anything. So far, that was not the case.
The military, and the military contractors, in particular, are an almost invisible part of the economy. With most of their personnel having a military background, they’re a highly visible part of the business world. But because they’re such invisible players in our economy, there’s a misconception that they’re only doing a few things. They’re not.
Sure there are a few things they do, and they have a handful of very visible roles in the military. But the majority of their jobs are not very visible. They can do practically anything, from working in the military kitchen to being doctors, but they are mostly hidden from view. And not just hidden, they are hidden in plain sight. It is because of this that the general public often has a very distorted idea of what the military is and what their jobs are.
To be honest, the military doesn’t do a lot of things. And that’s one of the most dangerous things about the military. It is a very secretive and secretive industry. They don’t tell their own employees or their own employees’ employers what they do. That’s dangerous stuff, and especially so when you have a lot of people who are afraid to speak out due to the possible repercussions.
I don’t know about you, but I’ve always wanted to be a military man. I have always wanted to be able to wear a uniform and carry a sidearm and see my weapons up close. I’ve always wanted to see and talk to members of the armed services. And I am the last person on Earth that would ever want to be involved with the military.
So you see, in the “military-industrial complex” we’re talking about, the entire military is the primary employer of people. There are literally hundreds of different companies that employ people who work in the military. And the military is the primary employer of the people who go to war. And the most important people who go to war are usually the ones who are not directly employed by the military. Those people go to war to make money and their families.
Yeah, I know that sounds backward. But if you’re going to go to war, you’re gonna need to get paid, right? And the military is the biggest employer of people who go to war. And it’s a big corporation, a very very big company. So you can imagine how hard it is to just talk up a job in the military.
If you're looking for a job in the military, you've probably heard that military recruiters are all a bunch of bigots. But wait a minute, that’s not true. This is a job for the people who are actually qualified to do it. And the best way to get yourself a job in the military is to go to the right place. If I were to tell you to go to the right place, I’d be lying.
Job hunting in the military is really tough. It’s a job that has a lot of responsibilities. Sometimes the job is so hard that it might be better to just take another job. And that is why the military recruiters are all a bunch of bigots. Sure it's not hard to get a job in the military, but it really takes a lot of work to get it and it's not as easy as it looks.
