Summer can suck the life out of you. If you’re anything like me, it’s a time when you need to get your ass out of bed and go outside and just keep on living. But the best way to do that is to do it on a day when it’s nice outside and there are no responsibilities to face.
That's exactly when summer really comes into its own. The sun is shining, the weather is warm, and you can get outside for a day. You can do whatever you want. But when the sun goes down it gets a little bit harder to do.
Summer is also the time when you can go out and play. At least that's what the summer movie trailers always promised. Now that summer is here, it's time to go out and play, which means that our friends at DICE have taken their summer-movie craze to a whole new level. Okay, so the first summer movie I actually liked was The Imitation Game. I’m not a huge fan of the kind of big-budget Hollywood movies that come out in summery seasons, but I still really liked it. Maybe it’ll be around when I retire, but still.

So when I was in college I was a big fan of summer blockbusters like The Hangover, and I was super into movies like Speed Racer and The Black Stallion. But while summer movies are great fun, I'm not always feeling like I'm being taken care of.
In summer, you are taken care of in a variety of ways, not only are you protected from the sun, but you are also protected from the rain and wind. A lot of people complain about how the cool weather doesn’t last long, but I find that it actually does when you get used to the weather. I think you can actually be so used to the weather that you are actually amazed at how much longer the sun stays up.
