The 7 Best Jobs Sites on the Internet

Jobs

There are quite a number of great job sites on the internet. There are also a number of good job sites that don’t have job openings at all. These are sites that are good at recruiting and interviewing candidates. A job site that has good interview questions that you can use to impress and qualify yourself for the job is also a good site.

This is one of the things I hate about this job market, is that so many of the jobs sites are competing for my time and attention. I would like to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume that you are a very well-read worker with a solid resume and a good cover letter. Even when you've read thousands of resumes in the last week, it still hurts a little bit because you can't really impress someone without knowing their job history.

I get it. I get it.

What I am talking about here is being more selective in who you apply to and also knowing your own work history. A lot of jobs sites seem to want you to have a lot of experience in their particular field. You will have to know what your interviewer is going to want you to do. They will probably use your resume and cover letter to get some idea of what skills you have. And that is not necessarily bad. That is good.

Some people are very good at applying for jobs even when they do not know what that particular job is. This can be very frustrating for someone who does not have any experience in that specific position. For this reason, it is important to do a search of your own job history. You can find things from your past that you can use to show what you have done and what you are capable of.

We've written a blog about how to search for your own job history at jobscan.com.

This is a very good way to find your resume that is already on your computer. You can also use the resume builder at jobsearch.com (this is the free version). Or you can just upload your resume and the editor will create it for you.

The idea is to search for a job that you want to change into something else. For instance, when you want to move from teaching to writing, you can search on jobsearch.com for the job title "poet" or "journalist" and see what it does for you.

I like to think of the best job boards on the Internet as a sort of virtual resume. There are hundreds, if not thousands, of job boards on the internet, but there is something very special about the jobs boards of the computer. They actually help you to search for jobs that are not quite computer-generated.
